Chicago house fire 3-2-13

This from Josh Boyajian:

Chicago had a working still at 2833 N. Spaulding. We were on our way home from Skokie and took it in. Engine 106 had heavy smoke O/A. Fire was reported to be on the 1st floor. Truck 13 made the roof and did a lot of work up there. Engine 106 had two lines lead out. Here are my pictures along with the new Explorer for Paramedic Field Chief 4-5-2.

House fire in North Chicago 2-28-13

This from Sam Borica:

Here is a helmet cam video of the structure fire in North Chicago the other day (2/28/13) from YouTube, uploaded by a North Chicago Firefighter. Initial reports of entrapment, then they had escaped the house and they had heavy fire in the rear of the house that was initially toned out as a medical call for trouble breathing -Sam Borcia

Chicago FD Turret Wagon History (pt10)

This from Bill Friedrich in response to the article HERE.

I am sending you another view looking down on the operations at this fire from my collection. Indeed CFD photos. If I recall this fire was on North Michigan Ave on a very cold day. Also visible are Engine 4 waiting to lead out. Truck 19’s Pirsch ladder doing battle. Ambulance 11 running with a Cadillac. I am also guessing that is Truck 3 in the midst of the battle.
