New ambulance for Chicago Heights FD

Congratulations and a big Thank You to Chief Jeffery Springer and the members of the Chicago Heights Fire Department on the recent delivery of a new Frontline Model M1 ambulance. This unit was built on a 2016 Chevrolet C3500 4×2 Silverado chassis. It is equipped with a 6.6L diesel. This is the 4th new unit for this busy south suburban Chicagoland department. This comes equipped with all LED emergency and interior dome lighting, Tomar Opticom System, Havis custom swing-out tablet docking station, 20A Kussmaul Super Auto Eject, custom installed Med-Vault, and an additional wall mounted suction unit/charger. This short wheel based Frontline Model M1 is the newest model in RevGroup’s long line of ambulance manufacturers and is designed as a small, sturdy, and dependable addition to any ambulance fleet. This all aluminum, extruded modular body comes equipped with over 56 cubic feet of exterior storage and 45 cubic feet of interior storage. The standard 146” long x 90” wide body comes standard with 68” interior headroom. These frontline models are also offered with or without a CPR seat.

New pumper for the Citgo Petroleum Company in Lemont

Congratulations to the Citgo Petroleum Company in Lemont on the recent delivery of their new E-ONE top mount pumper. This is their 2nd E-One industrial pumper. It is a duplicate of Citgo’s first pumper with a capacity of 3,500-gpm pump at draft and 10,000-gpm flow off hydrants. This truck carries 1,000 gallons of foam concentrate and distributes finished foam through a Williams Hot Shop balanced pressure foam system through the primary Williams 8,000-gpm capable deck gun and through the secondary twin TFT Monsoon deck guns each rated up to 2,000-gpm. Additionally, this truck is equipped with numerous large diameter discharges and hand lines. The truck is powered by a 600 HP Cummins X15 motor and seats up to six firefighters. This is an amazing piece of firefighting technology. We are proud to partner with this industrial customer.

New ambulance for Aurora

Fire Service, Inc. congratulates Chief Gary Krienitz and the Aurora Fire Department on the recent delivery of their latest Wheeled Coach Type 1 Ford F450 4×4 ambulance. This is the 8th Wheeled Coach Type I purchased by Aurora, finalizing the conversion of the entire AFD front line EMS fleet. The consistency of their custom interior design is enhanced with the Stryker Power Load system, and the conversion of the interior cabinetry to be CN-10 compliant. The IMMI Per4Max restraints offer fully retractable straps without sacrificing comfort and restriction. With the patented Cool Bar HVAC system and Whelen LED interior and exterior lighting and warning systems, Aurora remains prepared to offer their community consistent and safe EMS transportation for all missions. We are thankful that the City of Aurora places their trust in Fire Service, Inc for their EMS and fire apparatus needs. New ambulance for Bridgeview FD (more)

Congratulations to Chief Mike Daly and the members of the Bridgeview Fire Department on the recent delivery of their third Wheeled Coach Type I ambulance. This custom unit features a Ford F450 chassis with a liquid spring suspension system, all Whelen LED emergency, scene and interior dome lighting, custom cabinetry designed specifically for the Bridgeview Fire Department, custom gear compartment, power windows and door locks. The exterior showcases a custom “Coolbar” HVAC system, and OptiCom System. Last but not least, a beautiful custom paint configuration, awesome graphics complete with a full rear chevron, and aluminum alloy wheels complete this unit. It is the most recent purchase for this busy Southwest suburban Chicagoland department, and is a welcome addition to their Wheeled Coach fleet.

Congratulations to Chief Tom Heller and the Forest View Fire Department on the recent delivery of their new 2018 Wheeled Coach Type III ambulance. This new unit on a Ford E-450 chassis contains many custom features including all Whelen LED lighting, custom “Coolbar” HVAC system, Stryker Power Load, Power Cot, EQ2B siren, airhorn system, and custom gear compartment to house firefighting gear and SCBAs. This beautiful unit is a welcome addition to their fleet. We appreciate the business and want to welcome them to the Fire Service Family.

New ambulances for Rockford

Fire Service, Inc. would like to congratulate Chief Derek Bergsten and the City of Rockford Fire Department on their recent delivery of two 2019 Wheeled Coach Type 1 F450 4×4 ambulances. These are the 15th and 16th Wheeled Coach units Fire Service, Inc. has provided to Rockford Fire. Rockford has incorporated a custom designed unit, affording the exterior storage to accommodate the suppression needs as well as interior accommodations to provide the highest level of Advanced Life Support within their city. These units have driver and passenger side SCBA/ turnout gear storage, Whelen warning systems (including M Series LED exterior warning and flood lighting, Whelen dual amp and Howler Siren and interior LED lights), Stryker Power Load systems, Stryker Power XT Cots and stair chairs, Hanscom driver back up and interior module cameras, Knox Med Vault, Dometic temperature controlled medication drawer, IMMI Per4Max restraint systems, and Paramedic Design acrylic organizers. With KKK Change notice 10 interior cabinets, patented Wheeled Coach Cool Bar HVAC system, and a full reflective graphic package, these urban Type I ambulances are ready for an EMS mission ready response. New ambulance for Evergreen Park

Congratulations and a big Thank You to Chief Ron Kleinhaus and the members of the Evergreen Park, IL Fire Department on their delivery of a new 2019 Wheeled Coach Type III Ambulance. This new vehicle is the third ambulance for this busy SW Chicagoland department. This 2019 unit features a Ford E450 gas chassis, custom Coolbar HVAC System, all LED emergency and scene lighting, custom interior cabinetry, locking drug drawer, LED interior dome lighting, and a custom firefighting gear compartment. This new unit is an exact copy of their previous two ambulances and maintains consistency throughout their all Wheeled Coach fleet. New ambulance for Melrose Park FD

Fire Service, Inc. congratulates the Melrose Park Fire Department (IL) on the delivery of their 4th Wheeled Coach Type III ambulance. This unit’s custom ALS cabinet, Duralite CN 10 compliant interior cabinets, and Per4Max restraints are key elements to the performance and durability that Melrose Park depends on. Whelen M-series warning and interior domes and the new under ride bumper assembly compliment this unit well. Melrose Park will provide the final touch with graphics and it will soon begin servicing the City of Melrose Park for many years to come. New engines for Aurora

Congratulations and a big Thank You to Chief Gary Krienitz, Deputy Chief John Gilbert, Support Services Assistant Chief Dave McCabe and all the members of the Aurora IL Fire Department on their recent purchase of two (2) Emergency One top-mount pumpers. These new units will feature E-One’s popular Typhoon chassis with Vista Raised Roof, and a 330 HP Cummins L9 motor with Allison transmission retarder. These pumpers will come equipped with E-One’s custom aluminum extruded body with ROM painted roll up doors, 780-gallon water tank, hydraulic ladder rack, Hale 1500-GPM QMAX pump, Federal Signal emergency lighting package, Hi-Viz Firetech brow light and scene lighting, and a custom interior designed for this busy department. These two units will be a welcome addition to Aurora’s all E-One Fleet. We appreciate the business from this long time customer and look forward to a December 2019 delivery.
