New ambulance for Bolingbrook

Congratulations and a huge thank you to Deputy Chief Trinidad Garza and the Village of Bolingbrook Fire Department on the recent delivery of their newest Type 1 Wheeled Coach ambulance.

This unit has some well thought out changes supporting the ever expanding mission of the agency. Designed with turnout gear compartments on each side, and a specific compartment for Rescue Task Force equipment, BFD EMS operations become more efficient.
Also the use of Linex body lining on the lower portion of the module will add a level of body protection to areas which are closest to road debris.
Wheeled Coach patented Cool Bar HVAC and warning light housing provides for industry leading cooling ability, along with true 45 degree warning visibility.

Whelen M series LED exterior lights and interior LED domes, Stryker PowerLoad and built to CN 10 and 11 specifications, this unit will provide the members safe, consistent, and reliable EMS transportation for years to come. We are grateful for Bolingbrook’s continued confidence in Fire Service,Inc. and our portfolio of brands we represent.

New ambulance for Palos Heights FPD

Congratulations to Chief Kevin Doyle and the members of the Palos Heights Fire District in Palos Heights Illinois on the recent delivery of their new 2018 Wheeled Coach Type IIIasmbulance. This custom Type III unit is on a Ford E450, 6.8L gas cutaway chassis. This Change Notice 10 compliant unit contains many custom features including our COOLBAR HVAC System, Whelen M9 LED lighting, All LED interior lighting, 3” dropped skirts on both sides, 72” interior headroom, electric locks, Vanner inverter,   Federal PA4000 siren, VMUX electrical system with Vista IV touch screens, recessed Zico QR-D-2 strapless O2 bottle brackets and custom right front cabinet with full height roll up door. Palos Heights Fire District has been a long time Fire Service, Inc. customer.

New ambulance for Barrington

Fire Service, Inc. would like to thank the Village of Barrington on their order for a new 2019 F550 4×4 Type I Wheeled Coach ambulance. This will be the 8th Wheeled Coach for Barrington. The unit is an oversized 174×74 module, Change notice 10 and 11 compliant. Whelen LED interior and exterior lighting packages, Weldon Electronics VMUX multiplexed electrical system, IMMI Per4Max restraint system, patented Cool Bar HVAC, Ferno INX cot system and a custom interior design optimize the consistency of operations and safety to the crews and patients that the Barrington Fire Department serves. Barrington has chosen Wheeled Coach consistently for their industry leading safety testing, and value that Wheeled Coach has provided them for the past 14 years. New ambulance for Bolingbrook

Fire Service, Inc would like to thank the Bolingbrook Fire Department on their recent order for a 2019 Ford F550 Type 1 Wheeled Coach ambulance. This is the 6th Wheeled Coach for Bolingbrook Fire Department. The ambulance has been designed with the safety of the occupants, and the operational needs of the department in mind. Suppression compartments on each side of the ambulance allow storage for SCBA, water rescue, and Rescue Task Force equipment which are easily accessible. Interior accommodations include the IMMI Per4Max restraint system, which allows the medics to be belted and remain restrained while working on the patient. CN 10 and 11 compliant cabinetry and interior components, and the Stryker Power Load system, combine function with protection. Patented Cool Bar Ducted HVAC system provides superior temperature control within the module, and the advantage of 45 degree emergency warning lighting across the front of the ambulance. Whelen warning systems including LED M-series exterior lights, LED domes, and Whelen siren. Bolingbrook is mission ready for its community. We are excited to continue our relationship with Bolingbrook FD as a member of the Fire Service, Inc. family.

New ambulance for Gurnee

Fire Service, Inc would like to thank the Gurnee Fire Department for their recent order of a 2019 Road Rescue Ultramedic Type 1 F550 ambulance. This ambulance is fully CN 10 compliant, with Road Rescue’s industry-first all aluminum interior, ducted HVAC system and Whisper Quiet interior insulation package. Supplemented with Whelen M series emergency and interior LED lighting, and a Stryker Power Load, this newest addition to their fleet will serve the community Gurnee protects for many years. We remain grateful for the continued relationship with the Gurnee FD, and remain committed to providing the service and support Fire Service, Inc. Is known for.

New ambulance for Chicago Heights FD

Congratulations and a big Thank You to Chief Jeffery Springer and the members of the Chicago Heights Fire Department on the recent delivery of a new Frontline Model M1 ambulance. This unit was built on a 2016 Chevrolet C3500 4×2 Silverado chassis. It is equipped with a 6.6L diesel. This is the 4th new unit for this busy south suburban Chicagoland department. This comes equipped with all LED emergency and interior dome lighting, Tomar Opticom System, Havis custom swing-out tablet docking station, 20A Kussmaul Super Auto Eject, custom installed Med-Vault, and an additional wall mounted suction unit/charger. This short wheel based Frontline Model M1 is the newest model in RevGroup’s long line of ambulance manufacturers and is designed as a small, sturdy, and dependable addition to any ambulance fleet. This all aluminum, extruded modular body comes equipped with over 56 cubic feet of exterior storage and 45 cubic feet of interior storage. The standard 146” long x 90” wide body comes standard with 68” interior headroom. These frontline models are also offered with or without a CPR seat.
