New ambulance for Melrose Park FD

Fire Service, Inc. congratulates the Melrose Park Fire Department (IL) on the delivery of their 4th Wheeled Coach Type III ambulance. This unit’s custom ALS cabinet, Duralite CN 10 compliant interior cabinets, and Per4Max restraints are key elements to the performance and durability that Melrose Park depends on. Whelen M-series warning and interior domes and the new under ride bumper assembly compliment this unit well. Melrose Park will provide the final touch with graphics and it will soon begin servicing the City of Melrose Park for many years to come. We thank the Melrose Park Fire Department administration for the continued trust in Wheeled Coach and Fire Service, Inc. to provide solutions to their needs !

New engines for Aurora

Congratulations and a big Thank You to Chief Gary Krienitz, Deputy Chief John Gilbert, Support Services Assistant Chief Dave McCabe and all the members of the Aurora IL Fire Department on their recent purchase of two (2) Emergency One top-mount pumpers. These new units will feature E-One’s popular Typhoon chassis with Vista Raised Roof, and a 330 HP Cummins L9 motor with Allison transmission retarder. These pumpers will come equipped with E-One’s custom aluminum extruded body with ROM painted roll up doors, 780-gallon water tank, hydraulic ladder rack, Hale 1500-GPM QMAX pump, Federal Signal emergency lighting package, Hi-Viz Firetech brow light and scene lighting, and a custom interior designed for this busy department. These two units will be a welcome addition to Aurora’s all E-One Fleet. We appreciate the business from this long time customer and look forward to a December 2019 delivery.

New ambulance for Evergreen Park FD

Congratulations and a big Thank You to Chief Ron Kleinhaus and the members of the Evergreen Park Fire Department on their order of another Wheeled Coach Type III ambulance. This is Evergreen Park’s third ambulance and will be a welcome addition to their all Wheeled Coach fleet. This 2019 model on a Ford E450 chassis will be a copy of their previous units and will provide consistency throughout their EMS fleet. Wheeled Coach has proven time and time again to be a dependable vehicle for this busy south suburban Chicagoland department. We appreciate the continued loyalty to Fire Service Inc.and REV brand products. This unit was sold by Pete Lombardi, Regional Ambulance Sales Rep. New ambulance for Bolingbrook

Congratulations to the Bolingbrook , IL Fire Department on the delivery of their latest Wheeled Coach type 1 ambulance. This unit has substantial safety and operational improvements to help them meet their mission. This ambulance is built fully compliant with Change Notice 8 and 10, featuring upgraded interior cabinetry and closures designed for crash stability and the safety of interior occupants. The Stryker Power Load system serves both the medics with proven reduction in lifting injuries and retains the patient in the event of an accident. Finally each side has structural gear and SCBA compartments. And introducing to this agency a curbside sliding door to assist in the safety zone for the medics. On the Ford F550 4×4 chassis, with full Whelen LED warning and interior lighting packages and the patented Cool Bar HVAC system, Bolingbrook has made a significant investment in providing their community with the safest, most value driven emergency EMS apparatus possible. New ambulance for Chicago Heights

Congratulations and a big Thank You to Fire Chief Jeffery Springer and the members of the Chicago Heights IL Fire Department on the delivery of their new 2018 Wheeled Coach, Type 1 Ambulance. This new unit is their third recent purchase and will be a welcome addition to their busy EMS fleet. This 2018 F-450 4×2 chassis comes complete with Liquid Sping suspension system, Custom Coolbar, All LED Emergency and Interior Lighting, Compartment Strip Lighting, Custom Interior configuration etc. Radios, Computer docking stations, monitor mounts, PAC tool brackets and fire extinguishers were also installed prior to final delivery. Lettering and Striping was professionally installed by Strypes Plus More. This unit was sold by Pete Lombardi. New ambulance for Alsip

Congratulations and a big Thank You to Chief Tom Styczynski and all the members of the Alsip IL Fire Department on the recent delivery of their new 2018 Road Rescue Type III ambulance. This is Alsip’s second Road Rescue unit and will be a welcome addition to their EMS fleet. This unit features all Federal Signal LED emergency lighting, custom interior cabinet configuration, Weldon VMUX electrical system, and LED compartment and interior cabinet strip lighting. This unit also features our Road Rescue sliding curbside door and custom rubrail lightiing system. This is a beautiful unit that will give the AFD years of dependable service. New ambulance for Leyden Fire Protection District (more)

Congratulations to Chief Kory Ryan, and EMSC Josh Hintz and the Leyden Fire Protection District, IL on taking delivery of their new 2018 Wheeled Coach Type III ambulance. This is their second Wheeled Coach Type III. Leyden has duplicated the previous based upon the last 5 years of durability the Wheeled Coach has provided them.
This unit has the Cool Bar HVAC system, Whelen LED warning and interior lighting and interior accommodations designed for their operational efficiency.
We look forward to our continued relationship with Leyden and are grateful for their continued business.
