This from Scott Peterson:
Found this from my “old negative” pictures. Dec 1, 1998 the Pullman Factory fire, 6-7-1 working the rear. I believe the chief at the driver’s side rear of 6-7-1 is Garetti.

This from Steve Redick:
So I was talking with some fellow fire fans and we were discussing when we had seen 671 at work prior to it’s resurrection for the latest 5-11. I trolled through my archives and found these images..taken at a 5-11 & 2 Specials 2232 S Grove st. April 14 1989. This fire involved a huge amount of tires in the old Cuneo Press complex, and 1 of these buildings was used in the final fire in the movie backdraft. One shot shows a real rarity, 2 turret wagons working. LDH was in limited use at this fire … still kinda new to us. The next day was the famous art gallery 5-11 … what a coupla days this was!!!!

ABC Chicago has an article HERE.
A Chicago Fire Department spokesman said a southside warehouse that caught fire Tuesday night will be a total loss.
“Totally involved. … This is a major fire,” read a message posted to Twitter at about 9:50 p.m. Moments later there was a message that a portion of the structure had collapsed.
Firefighters were in “defensive mode” in attacking the fire in a building on the 3700 block of South Ashland Avenue, spokesman Larry Langford said.
But despite his initial, confident remark that the fire would be isolated, flames spread to at least one nearby building. The owner of a printing company, at 3801 S. Ashland Ave., was on the scene and expressed concerns about chemicals inside that could explode.
