I took in a working fire in Markham last week at 16003 S Central Park Ave. First companies arrived on scene with heavy fire showing from the front and back of this place. Shortly thereafter, they went defensive and decided to let it go. I arrived about 30 minutes into the fire and this is what I found. Markham Engine 33 had a few lines off and was feeding Flossmoor’s tower ladder. Full gallery is HERE.

At around 130am on December 11th, Cicero Fire companies were toned out for a structure fire @ 2704 S 60th Ct. Engine 2 arrived onscene with a fully involved, 2.5 sty wood frame, about 25×75′ and pulled a Box. Due to the amount of fire, exposure problems, and structural integrity, all companies went defensive. Truck Co. 2 put their aerial master stream to work on side A. Engine 1 & North Riverside Engine 807 lead out multiple big lines as well. I arrived about 10 minutes into the fire. The full gallery is HERE.

On December 12th, 2023 at around 2pm, the Roselle Fire Dept responded to a house fire on Long Ave in unincorporated Schaumburg.
Crews were met with a fully involved, single family home on arrival. Due to limited water supply, tenders from Roselle, West Chicago, Bloomingdale, and Pingree Grove supplied Engine 64 until a hydrant was secured.
