This from Josh Boyajian:
Here are some pictures I’ve taken of Skokie’s new 2013 Pierce Dash CF Puc last weekend! The rear of the engine has a special compartment or storage area for the last 200 feet of their skid loads. Instead of the 200′ horseshoe of 1-3/4 or 2-1/2 that is on top of the skid, they have it in these compartments that are shoulder height! Which in my opinion is pretty cool and very firefighter friendly. Also the inside of the Dash CF cab, how much room is inside it. Very nice engine! Enjoy! Thanks Josh Boyajian

This from Jeff Rudolph:
We picked it up Tuesday morning. Skokie E-17, 2013 Pierce Dash CF on a PUC body ( first delivered to Illinois) 1500/500. It’s uniqueness is the rear hosebed. Trying to get the shoulder loads as low as possible we designed slide-out trays below the hosebed to hold the 1 3/4″ and 2 1/2″ shoulder loads, a first for Pierce. Should be in service in about a month, will get you a nice shot in the spring. Jeff Rudolph.
