I shot new truck 24 the other day. Its a 2014 Spartan ERV 103′ RM ladder. It carries shop # FD-E350.Enjoy
Also on a side note, there are four new ambulances waiting to be placed into service at the shops for Ambos 7, 36, 58, and 86.

here are some pictures from the spartan erv website displaying the chassis and ladder for one of the new aerials for Chicago. Needless to say…its not a tower ladder. What I’m assuming, Spartan calls a rear mount aerial a “rear mount platform.”

The SpartanERV web site has updated photos of the new tower ladder for Palatine which recently had the body mounted onto the chassis.
Last month the unit stopped in Palatine on the trip from PA to SD.

CFD website updates

There have been several long overdue updates made to CFD houses on the website:
- a new image of Battalion 2
- a new image of Battalion 3
- a new image of Battalion 18
- Truck 56‘s new unit
- Truck 13‘s new unit
- Ambulance 58 has been added
- Engine 109’s new house has been added
- Battalion 4 and 2-2-1 have been moved to Engine 18’s house
