That would be SQUAD 2605 not engine.

The spec sheets, and also the retired guys that I talked with told me different. I also remember seeing this rig and seeing the tank behind the cab in between the two compartments in the back.

FYI this rig did not carry water. Strickly pump.

Just a correction on this post: Its a 1967 GMC/Pierce(Serial# 8984-A) It has a 500 bumper pump, carried 200-gallons of water and had a 30′ Tempco ladder. Started out as Truck 3 then became Engine 2605.
