Took in the fire @ 727 W Lake Street today (Mellos Peanut Co). BC 3 arrived to find a 2-sty ordinary with smoke showing in the rear. Engine 42 backed down the alley to lead out. Truck 19 was in sector 3 and laddered the roof. 42 made a quick knock of the fire. Turned out it was a batch of Peanuts burning in a large container.
