This from Dan McInerney:

Working fire on the second floor of a 2 sty vacant rowhouse at 3554 S. Prairie. Companies- E16, T15, E19, T11, Bn 2, 5-5-1, 2-7-3. RIT Bn 15 and T4. I got there late but it was too nice a day not to shoot some rigs. This area has a large concentration of row house construction extending well to the east and south of here. Some really beautiful 2 story greystones with designs and styles you don’t see elsewhere in the city. It’s a shame to see a lot of them boarded up and vacant.

New squad for Will County Sheriff

Will County Sheriff’s Special Operations Group  ordered the following:

  • Spartan Gladiator ELFD 24” raised roof tandem-axle chassis
  • Marion Body Works 30’ walk-in/walk around body with two command slide outs
  • numerous interior and exterior storage areas
  • monitors, TV, satellite, light tower
  • Delivery late 2013

Westchester buys squad

The Westchester Fire Department in MABAS Division 20 placed an order with Fire Service, Inc. for a 21′ custom, walk-around rescue on a Typhoon chassis.
