CFD updates

Steve Redick and Hank Sajovic have kept the CFD apparatus and station updates flowing in. Here is a list of all the updated companies:

1st District: BN 2 in Engine 8’s house – Engine 19

2nd District: Engine 119’s 2009 Crimson plus Amb 39 and BN 11

4th District: Engine 38’s new house

New Sutphen in Mundelein

The Mundelein Fire Department in Division 4 has recently received a 2009 Sutphen 75′ mid-mount quint. The SL75 has a 1500 GPM pump and carries 500 gallons of water. Mundelein is not yet featured on this site.

Wauconda Fire District is online

The Wauconda Fire District in Division 4 is online showcasing their 3 stations and all of their apparatus. One of the featured rigs is Engine 3410, their new Ferrara Intruder 2 which was put into service at the beginning of November.

Peotone comes online

The Division 19 listings continue to grow with the addition of the Peotone Fire Protection District. Karl Klotz has contributed images representing the entire department including their latest acquisition – a Sutphen rescue pumper.

New engine in Wauconda

The Wauconda Fire Department in Division 4 has taken delivery of a 2009 Ferrara Intruder 2 engine which has gone into service at Station 1 as Engine 3410. The Intruder 2 cab and chassis is made by HME and the unit has a 1500 GPM pump with 750 gallons of water.

Chicago 5th District updates

Following up on a post from last week about CFD rigs that were photographed at a southside 2-11 alarm fire, 5 new firehouses in the 5th District have been added representing the entire 20th Battalion and 1 house in the 19th Battalion.

Engine 88 (from the 19th Battalion)

Engine 15, Engine 64, Engine 101 and Engine 129 representing the 20th Battalion.

Lockport updates

Lt. John Matthews of the Lockport Township FPD was kind enough to contribute several images to update the majority of missing photos from their fleet.

Station 1 now has an image of Brush 2 and Reserve Engine 2.

Station 6 now has an image of Truck 5, Reserve Ambulance 1 and Reserve Engine 1.
