This from Andrew McCullough:
This is a scan of one of my father’s slides. He was engineer on E5 at the time. The engine is a 1969 Seagrave 1500 GPM. It was close to new here, so this must be 1969-70.Location is E5’s quarters 324 S Desplaines St. Photo by the late John McCullough.

For TBT-This was the South Holland Fire Dept.’s Engine 664, a 1969 ALF 1250/500. This engine was repainted in 1983 and the diesel engine was replaced with a Allis-Chalmers diesel engine. Enjoy and comment.Mike Summa

For TBT – This was the University Park Fire Dept.’s Engine 73, a 1980 Hendrickson/FMC 1500/500. This is a very old picture, the color does not show the yellow paint scheme very well. The engine is also lettered Park Forest South before the name change.Mike Summa

This from Steve Redick:
Took this in on Saturday. Mainly police cars but a few rigs, some new to the show. The organizers put a lot of work into setting this up each year but the current venue in downtown Oswego makes quality vehicle photos pretty much impossible to get due to some very tight space limitations … that being said I managed to get a few mediocre shots. all are posted hereSteve
