Bridgeview rollover and Haz Mat Box 11-13-13

This from Keith Grzadziel:

This morning at approximately 08:15 hrs the Bridgeview Fire Department was dispatched for a report of a rollover involving a tanker on W/B 95th Street near the Tri-State Tollway exit ramps. North Palos Battalion 8, who was in the area, arrived first reporting a tanker on it’s side. The driver was treated for minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital. Bridgeview Battalion 40 requested a Level I HAZMAT Box. Companies were informed that the tanker had approximately 8500 gallons of a gasoline mix product. A special request was made for 3 additional engines and the MABAS 21 Foam Trailer. Crews had to standby while a contractor off-loaded the product prior to the towing company uprighting the truck. Numerous additional agencies assisted with the incident.

Bridgeview, IL-71st Street Reopening Ceremony

This from Martin Nowak:

The 71st Street project in Bridgeview took a few years to complete, but today [Saturday] was the Reopening Ceremony. Bridgeview Fire Department, Bridgeview Emergency Management, and our governor were at the ceremony. MABAS 21 Rehab unit was one of the Emergency Management Units (X-Justice FD). I have a picture attached of a former ambulance that I’m trying to figure out where that came from.

The street reopens to traffic Tuesday.

Multiple auto crashes in Bridgeview 4-5-13

This from Martin Nowak:

Friday night around 7:20-7:30 I saw Ambulance 3R from Roberts Park with Bridgeview Engine Company 405 using 425 at the scene of a 2-car accident that had moved into a CVS parking lot at 87th and Harlem (Later you can see 3R transporting.) Engine 405’s crew got a call to respond as seen in the video. As they were responding they called in the 2nd accident or both. The 2nd one was in front of the Shell gas station (4-5 car accident) and the third was a 3-car accident. In the video you see a red car at the gas station entrance, a witness told me the third accident where most of my recording took place was caused by the driver of that car. Not sure who caused what, but it was a busy night for MABAS 21. About 5 people were transported. Anyone that has any other information or has questions please do so in the comments. Here are a few pictures plus a video showing crews arriving. Thank you.
