Dennis McGuire, Jr. submitted several photos of Chicago Fire Department apparatus that was missing from the site or that updates older images that were posted.
In the 5th District:
- a photo of Battalion 19’s current buggy has been added to Engine 123‘s page
- a posed image of Engine 68 replaces an image that was at a fire scene
- a posed image of Engine 108 also replaces an on-scene image
- the same goes for a shot of Tower Ladder 23
- a new image was posted of 6-7-3 the deluge wagon
In the 1st District
- an image of Engine 14 was posted showing their current unit
- also at Engine 14’s house there is now an image of 5-2-2 the lumber truck (part of the collapse response)
- a new image of 5-1-5, the Special Operations Battalion Chief is at Engine 5‘s house

Matt Schumann submitted an image of Orland FPD Ambulance 1 that was missing from the site.
Dennis McGuire, Jr. and Larry Shapiro have submitted images to update the Alsip Fire Department listing.
The page depicting the Homewood Acres Fire Department has been updated to show their two current engines. Previous photos with the one of the old engines are HERE, HERE, and HERE.
Steve Redick recently photographed the new Pierce Impel PUC that went into service as Engine 101 for the Norwood Park FPD. He submitted several images.
The Glenview Fire Department has two new units on order.
- a Type I ambulance from Medtec (M-170) on an IHC 4300 chassis is expected in early November. The body will be slightly larger than the current units and the paint scheme will vary somewhat as well. This will be assigned to Ambulance 6. The current unit running as Ambulance 6 will go into reserve, and the Freightliner/Road Rescue will be disposed of.
- In February, Truck 14 is scheduled to receive a 2013 Pierce Arrow XT 100′ rear mount quint. It will have roll-up doors similar to the current (2003 Pierce Dash) with a 1,500-GPM pump, 400 gallons of water, and two 25-gallon foam cells. The cab though will have the same configuration as the engines. The extended front bumper will house hydraulic extrication tools.
New photos have been added to Station 6. A new image of ambulance 6 and a photo of the new Engine 6 (that had not yet been added to the site).
Additionally, Glenview Squad 6 has been decommissioned and is for sale.

Oak Lawn apparatus updates

The Oak Lawn Fire Department in MABAS Division 21 has been updated. Images have been added showing Medic 1, Medic 2, Medic 5, Engine 1, and Engine 5.
