As one of the original driver/operators of that rig I must admit I’m surprised it’s still in service.

This was half of a set of twins we had. These were the first two Hush quints E-One had built so they were a bit unique. Instead of being a rear engine like the Hush engines, these were actually mid engine, the engine was right behind the cab.
The other twin was sold just after I started in 2003 when we took delivery of the 2003 KME quint, and if I remember quickly was supposed to head somewhere in the middle east for fire protection over there. This one was sold in 2010 and was replaced by the Ferarra tower ladder.

The Hush Tower Ladder is currently in service as Tower Ladder 10 at IFSI.

Schaumburg had an E One Hush 135′ straight stick in the 1990s as well as a E One Hush tower ladder around the same time. Both were true trucks, no tank, no pump. I can’t find any pictures right now, but I’m sure they’re out there. I didn’t know they made a Hush quint though.

Looks good. I didn’t realize that they used the HUSH for ladders.
