This from Wayne Stuart for #TBT:
I dug into my archives and found another photo of the 1958 Seagrave that Mike Summa submitted. The photo was taken in 1978 when it was in service as Hazel Crest Engine 23, and painted lime green. It had a 750 pump and a 300 Gal. tank. Thanks for sharing Mike.

Thanks for posting Wayne. That lime yellow really jumps off the screen. Brookfield had a ’58 closed cab Seagrave for years.

Midlothian had 2 similar engines and a midmount truck. Summit had a similar engine. Bedford Park had a closed cab engine. Oak Lawn had a closed cab midmount and quad along with an engine. Not sure of all the years.
Thanks for sharing both pics!

Looks just as great in that color too.
So it was red as built, painted lime green and back to red huh?
Sounds like the history of Wauwatosa and West Allis with their rigs.13
