Matt – the new engine numbers are 49 50 and 51 (newest), not 48 49 50

The 1983 Spartan/Pirsch that was sold to River Grove was E48. With the new engine that has been purchased, the three engines are now 48,49 and 50. There is a brand new truck that is close to being in service that will replace T44 and keep the same number. E49 and E50 will be kept by the department with one being the main spare for the department.
The other two engines also have trays for the trash line at the back of the engine. This number was previously assigned to a utility truck that was sold.

Bob, I do not. I only knew that light was green from seeing a photo from the department photographer and seeing it running hot. I have not seen the new T24 or 47 yet.

It is the very first Manufacturer ID Plate (Tank) to have a QR Square that I have seen. (Between the UPF & E-ONE Logos)

Refreshing to see a new engine spec’d with tradition in mind…swing out compartment doors, side mount ground ladders, pump can on the tailboard, etc.
