A tale of two cities …

This from Larry Shapiro:

or … we’ll have it our way …

Two neighboring departments, Northfield and Wilmette, recently took delivery of new E-ONE e-Max engines. Although they were both built on the same chassis with the same cab shell, they a have many differences in their specifications and overall  designs.

Some differences include the emergency and scene lighting, the bumper, the side cab window/storage, and the water capacity.

Views from the rear show more differences including the compartment and hose bed configurations, the striping, lighting, and the access ladder.
