I took in the 2-11 in Blue Island at 13039 Western Ave on 9-7-23. I arrived well after the fire was knocked, but got some pretty good apparatus photos.

New ambulance for Evergreen Park FD

Congratulations to Chief Ron Kleinhaus, the Evergreen Park Village Board, and the members of the Evergreen Park Fire Department on the purchase of their new 2022 Wheeled Coach Model 3170F Type III ambulance. This custom ambulance will be built on a Ford E450, 7.3L gasoline chassis and will be another addition to their ALL Wheeled Coach fleet of ambulances. Evergreen Park has been an E-One/ Wheeled Coach customer for many years. They see the value of a dependable product that delivers mission critical durability day in and day out. This new unit will have the added benefit of a Stryker Power Load System.
