Bruce Springsteen’s son joins Colts Neck Fire Department in New Jersey
Streets of fire? Firefighter Sam Springsteen, youngest son of the Boss, is on the case.
Springsteen, 20, graduated from the Monmouth County Fire Academy last week after completing 188 rigorous hours of training, officials said. He plans to join the Colts Neck Fire Department.
“#OurFamily Hero,” wrote his mom, E Street Band member Patti Scialfa, with a black-and-white Instagram photo of a smiling Sam in his helmet and gear.
Bruce Springsteen’s son Sam graduated from the Monmouth County Fire Academy on Jan. 15. The Boss was at the ceremony.

“This is not an easy course,” Monmouth County Fire Marshal Henry Stryker III told the Asbury Park Press. “There’s a lot of physical stuff and a lot of book work.”
Dad famously wrote about the FDNY’s 9/11 heroes on his album “The Rising,” which also included a song titled “Into The Fire.”
