Chicago firefighters responded to a call for help after 10PM to assist a woman trapped on the street. Apparently, as she was crossing the street, she got her foot caught in a gap that opened up in the pavement of a bridge. Her leg, beyond her knee, slipped into and became wedged in the space. Companies are cutting concrete to free her as 5-1-5 along with a truck company are on the street below helping to support her leg.
Tim Olk, was picking up from the 3-11 Alarm and went to the scene. He submitted a few quick shots before the extrication got underway.
