I don’t unstand why these departments don’t use R for there reserve rigs? like Eng 77R Ducomm is wasting numbers that could for future expansion of a town

Yes, I know someone in Addison who recently told me that they will be switching–Date TBA. They will be Stations 71, 72 and 73; I’m sure they’ll have a couple of extra numbers because of their reserve equipment. Don’t know about the rest of Fire East. When this is all over, I’d like to see a complete list of all the new numbers.

York Center has two engines & two ambulances, which would all the primary rigs Eng. 77, Medic 77, Tender 77, Rescue/Squad 77 and Utility 77. What’s the “ghost”/spare number going to be (for the second engine & ambulance)?
