Some time in march the Lisle Woodridge Fire District will changing numbers. This is to fit in with ducomm switching to the CAD system. Station 1 will have Engine 51 Medic 51 Truck 51 and the battalion. Station 2 will have Engine 52 and Medic 52. Station 3 Truck and Medic 53. Station 4 Medic and Engine 54. Station 5 will have Medic 55 and Engine 55 along with Medic 56 and Engine 56 (the reserves). I’m not sure what the dive squad and the boat are going to be but i thing it is going to be Squad 52 and 52A. They are renumbering the Districts as well again i don’t know all the numbering.

Don’t they have an ambulance at each house? Is this in line with plans for the consolidation with Darien Woodridge?

Lisle Woodridge is having some tuff times right now.
Some days the Truck at Station 51 is browned out. So being it…. They moved some stuff over to the engine and now its called “Squad 51.”
As of now…companies in service
Station 51 – Squad & Battalion
Station 52 – Engine & Ambo
Station 53 – Tower Ladder
Station 54 – Jump company between the Ambo & Engine
Station 55 – Engine & Ambo

They are having pension issues…. So after 10 guys have retired, the District decided they are not going to replace those 10 guys and not hire overtime

How could LWFD be in such diress? Is it because of property tax revenue has drastically dropped? But as far as not replacing 10 personnel, won’t that only hurt the situation more since those are 10 positions paying into the pension fund? Is the district utilizing the moneys earmarked for salaries to cover pension debt? What is the district trying to accomplish by not hiring permanently or hiring overtime?

What is Squad 51? Did that use to be the engine? Are they still running truck 51?

LISLE WOODRIDGE FPD should use the 50 for command stucture , chief 50 , deputy chief 50 , bc 50 , because their command stucture is huge .

And station 3 only has one unit now witch is Tower 53, also station 54 has only one unit which is Engine 54
