More from Steve Redick on the 2-11 Alarm fire in Chicago, 10-14-19
I was late getting to this job and even so as I arrived they declared an emergency evacuation and sounded the horns as an internal collapse had just occurred. Got some decent shots but was shooting into the sun quite a bit and the low hanging smoke made photos difficult. This was an unusual building with some difficult access issues. All the images can be seen here:

The first of two 2-11 Alarm fires in Chicago on 12/22/18 was at 7051 N. Clark Street (more)
This from
I took in the 2-11 on Clark Street Saturday and arrived about 40 minutes into the fire. Totally defensive at that time. Numerous hand lines and master streams working. I took some shots of the new Engines 59 and 71 pumping as well as Engines 102 and 70. New TL 21 was set up and ready to go but I don’t think they ever flowed any water.

Excerpts from Michiganavemag.com:
Unique Places to Get Married Around Chicago
Firehouse Chicago
Though it’s now a quaint and beautiful event space, Firehouse Chicago was once—you guessed it—a firehouse. The Northside building was home to Engine Company 70 for more than 100 years, and included four horse stables in addition to its high ceilings and white glazed brick. The building was renovated to maintain its original character and beauty, including antique doors and lighting, making it not only a unique and spectacular wedding venue, but also an unforgettable setting steeped in history. 1545 W. Rosemont, 773-850-1545
thanks Dan

This from Steve Redick:
This was about 0100 Monday morning at 4874 Lincoln Ave. A bar on the first, bowling alley above. Fire reported to be through the roof on arrival. During the initial attack a member from Engine 110 was reported missing, but thankfully was located in short order and ok. Heavy fire throughout the top floor and through the roof on my arrival. Tower ladders 21, 23, and 14, Squad 2, Reserve Snorkel 1, and 110 deck gun were among the master streams used. Click here to see all the images
