More on the New home for South Elgin engine from Danny Nelms:
Engine that formally belonged to the South Elgin Fire Department and has spent the last several years in Pennsylvania was was listed for sale several weeks ago. In light of the devastation from the tornado in Mayfield/Graves County Kentucky, Penn Forest Volunteer Fire Company #2 decided to donate the rig to the Mayfield/Graves County Fire and Rescue Squad whose firehouse was destroyed along with several pieces of apparatus.The Seagrave engine was loaded on a flatbed trailer and departed for Kentucky in the late evening hours of December 16th.

The Seagrave on the low boy is not the same rig shown in the other picture. The engine shown on the low boy is an H cab while the other picture is the J cab.
