The BZPD has been BLS for years. They had a white Type II with the Omaha orange stripe at one time. I’m told a portion of the zoo is in Riverside.

The Zoo Police handle EMS for the park. I *THINK* they’re BLS (but that could have changed at any time).

Im guessing this unit is Chicago Zoological vs solely Brookfield Zoo. Though it would make sense that it would be housed at the zoo. Any idea how this works at the zoo? How do the police use this unit?
