CLFRD arrived with smoke and fire through the roof of the banquet hall on Route 41 at Route 31 around 2am, fire was marked under control at 5:15am. 2nd alarm off box 5-341 was requested with CLFRD Tower 381, Algonquin LITH Truck 181, Wauconda Tower 341, and McHenry Tower 1281 all flowing their master streams in a defensive fire.

A bill that would give Illinois emergency dispatchers more benefits and officially classify the profession as first responders could soon be sent to the governor.
Senate Bill 3127 provides that emergency dispatchers are now COVID-19 first responders.
If signed by Gov. J.B. Pritzker, emergency dispatchers would qualify for extra medical benefits, mental health benefits, and extra funding for the industry.
Senate Bill 3127 passed unanimously through both chambers of the Illinois General Assembly and can now be sent to the governor.

I was out and found 4 CFD buggies at Sutton Ford in Matteson along with probably about 20 CPD cars. All vehicles were the new style Ford Interceptor CFD units found were Battalion 20 and 9 and Deputy District Chiefs 2-2-2 and 2-2-5
