From the Bensenville Professional Firefighters Association, Local 2968 Facebook page:
It’s been a long year, but we are finally putting Ladder 107 back in service. This is the most vital piece of equipment we have and directly impacts the safety of our residents when they need us.

I drove by station 107 today. I did not see it at 107. However I did see the two Ambulances in quarters. When will the truck be back at 107?

Yes, DH is correct about the “blanking out” of the department name via Photoshop. Many of the apparatus brokers do this as he stated because the vehicle may still be in service awaiting delivery of their new apparatus. It worked out well for B-Ville as they weren’t able to sell this well laid out truck and still have it to place back in service. Winning the referendum and this should be good for morale and pride also. Congrats L-2958 brothers!

Michael M – The seller edits the photos to blank out the department names. Orland’s tower for example, is currently for sale, but it is still in service until the new one arrives.
According to the listing on firetruckmall.com:
Ladders: 35′, 28′, 24′, 16′, 14′, 10′, 1- Little Giant
Looks like the spec sheet (posted on here when they bought it) says 700′ each of 2.5″ and 4″

Will they run Ladder 107 mutual aid into Wood Dale for AFA’s or will Itasca run Tower 66 into Wood Dale?

Was it re-lettered/numbered in house or did they send it out to get all the markings put back on? I have seen the photos from the dealer and all the markings that it is a Bensenville truck were removed.

How are they going to run it? Will it be first due on all AFA and structure Fire calls and auto accidents? Or will it run as a jump company with Ambulance 107?

How many feet of ground ladders does Ladder 107 Carry? Also what is the hose that is in the photo. Looks like 5 inch supply line. Is the other hose 2 1/2 inch attack line or 3 inch supply line?

Glad to see it is running again! I wonder what changed the board’s mind? Was this photo taken at Station 108?
