Gee, there weren’t too many fire apparatus built on that particular FORD chassis. 🙂
There was an article in the latest FIRE APPARATUS JOURNAL
about FDNY in trying INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER medium duty commercial chassis similar to the FORD and that experiment was a complete failure with cramped seats and many mechanical problems. Perhaps if they had used the FORD C, they would have been better.
Makes sense given that there were countless examples.
