Still & Box Alarm in Chicago, 12-3-17

Thought I would share a few images from a still and box alarm in the 16th Battalion on Sunday morning (12/3) at 5658 S. Sayre Avenue. Engine 32 (in the spare rig) pulled a box immediately upon landing on the scene. It was promptly struck out by the 16th Battalion less than 3 minutes later. There was some extension to the home which was attached to the brick garage.

New mobile asset for Lake County Quad 2

The Quad 2 departments in Lake County acquired a surplus 4×4 military cargo truck for use in flooding and massive snowfall emergencies. It is a 1998 Stewart & Stevenson 4×4 Light Medium Tactical Vehicle (LMTV), M-1078 cargo truck sn A-TOO8584BDCG.
