They are building 18 more ambulances. I found out from CFD medic.

Well, considering they weren’t spec built for Chicago but in fact were somebody’s throwaways, that’s not hard to figure out.

I know I said it before and it’s not likely in Chicago or Milwaukee. However, a purpose built ambulance doesn’t seem to out of the norm. It would last longer since it would be built to be an ambulance instead of a motorhome/shuttle bus/bread truck chassis.

The A pillars and ball joints were cracking. They switched to the regular bumper to reduce weight. Crap throwaways.
