This from Larry Shapiro:
I stopped by the Northfield fire station and saw that they’ve changed Engine 29 to match the new Squad 29, with a black roof and new graphics. I’ve included photos of the previous graphics and the original delivery graphics.

Small dept, they man the Squad & Ambo and take what is needed for out-of-town responses. The Squad is still a pumper.

Does anyone know how they run and man this rig? I have been assuming it was used as a spare for Squad 29 as since Squad 29 is a pumper/squad that the Squad is normally first due on a Fire ,Accident or Ems run .As it is a small department I believe that they generally speaking only have enough men on duty to man the Squad and ambulance. I guess that it is probably manned if they request a off duty manpower call back correct? I know that on some mutual aide boxes Truck 29 is dispatched however I believe that Squad 29 ‘s crew takes Truck 29 as I believe that the Truck is a “Jump” company. If I am wrong about it. please jump in.
