This from John Tulipano:
On April 9th I was able to attend some afternoon drills at NIPSTA with companies from MABAS Division 3 running a simulated building explosion and collapse with several autos on fire and a civil disturbance!
THANKS HANK!

North Maine had a pierce rufurbed by Alexis a couple years ago and te rig is now their front line rig because the LaFrance was/is such a pile of junk.

J.C. is correct this is X- deerfield engine, not North Maine.
North Maine did not have a front suction, and ended up in I
think Randolph Wisconsin

That first shot of the “NIPSTA” white over red Engine looks to me as if it might have been the former Skokie Reserve Engine (1988 Pierce) which was replaced by former Engine 17’s 1997 Pierce when Engine 17 received their new 2013 Piece Dash/PUC last year. Am I correct?

Speaking of Glenview, I read a village report that they just ordered a new ambulance to replace the reserve ambulance (former ambulance 6, the 2007 model)–which will become the new dive apparatus.
