Dan, Robbins tower ladder was an E-ONE demo rig. The blue & white stripe design was a common E-ONE design on their factory stock rigs for a short time.

Just curious, but did the Robbins tower ladder ever belong to Tri State? It has a similar blue and white stripe, which I don’t see very often, if at all. It also does not match the rest of their fleet.

This truck is now in Needmore Vol Vire Company in Pennsylvania.

Ever since they had an accident with one of their apparatus (this truck, ironically), the company officer must say “all belted” with any transmission that starts an apparatus movement (en route, en route to hospital, etc.); to ensure all members are belted. Most realize that it’s a half second phrase, and is of NO consequence to anything, and just ignore it. Mike here, on the other hand, has gone out of his way to berate TSFPD about this on ANY posting about the department.

What is this “all belted” stuff we’re talking about?

I have to agree – the Fight’in apostrophe deal is as lame as the “all belted” saying

Mike, I’m seriously concerned you have a mental illness….get over it! Sorry not every department does things the way you want.
Also…I really, really want to correct the “fight’in” to put the apostrophe in the right location!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe this is now running in the Bloomington/Normal area in division 41 somewhere?

do they say “all belted” ? I bet they properly know how to use a seat belt.
