That was an awesome season finale! Very interested to see the outcome in the fall.

There was also a reserve truck used at the wedding scene. It had shop lettering.

I thought that this was worth mentioning. Tonight which was the last episode of Season 2, there was an extra alarm fire in a multi story old boarding school and for a change they used more then the “standard 3 companies from Station 81”.
If you’ll notice the Reserve Snorkel pulls in to position itself in the background. Even more impressive however is when the “Chief” asked for the ‘Water Cannon” they were actually using a Chicago Fire Department Tower Ladder in that seen.
As first you might have thought that the close up shots of the firefighter in the basket were the Reserve Snorkel but if you paid attention to the shot taken of that fire you would have eventually noticed that they were actually shooting water from the turret “deck gun” of a Tower Ladder.
They were using both a Tower Ladder and the Reserve Snorkel at the made for TV fire. They didn’t show any close ups of the Tower Ladder body however you were able to see that the Tower Ladder was extended. As the camera didn’t focus very long on it you had to be paying attention.
The Tower Ladder may have been one of the 1988 model E/One rigs however it was hard to tell because the shots were very quick.
And just as clever it was a dramatic ending to keep you wandering all summer as to what happened until the show resumes in the fall.
If you missed tonight’s (May 13th ,2014) show you can still watch it on the Chicago Fire website where it should be put within the next week.

Why was not wearing a helmet promoted on an episode, recently? I understand IL does not have a helmet law, like Arkansas, but this promotes parental neglect. Individuals or children with cognitive challenges cost you more than $2.3 billion last year because parents did not make their children wear helmets. Where is parental love? Close to the 11/26/13 episode. I’ve cost you over $3 million over the last 36 years, do you want others to do the same?

Well Tonight Season 2 begins at 9pm Central Daylight Time.
I understand that they are supposed to deal with a threat to possibly close Station 51 from some state hired consultants.
