its a shame niles wont see any money from it because it went to nipsta who could’t sell it on ebay now has it listed for that much through a dealer maybe niles should have sold it for profit ,i guess nipsta isn’t making enough off the cpat or firefighter classes and everything else

Niles had a lot of problems with that tiller. Then again they had nothing but problems with the other 2 trucks they bought to replace it. Quint2r (aka North Maine Quint 1) was bought because the tiller was OOS so much. A year ago the Quint blew a motor and is OOS. The other used one, new Truck2 they bought from Collingswood Ohio with 100K, it needed work before they ever put it on the street. It has been nothing but trouble also. The fleet mechanic told the village to sell the quint and tiller and put the money to a new truck and was shot down.

That brings a sad smile to my face, as I sold that new to Highland Park……complete with the Seagrave pressure governor. I didn’t realize it then, but those were some pretty good years for Seagrave.
