We previously mentioned that the Long Grove FPD has ordered a new tanker (tender) from Alexis. Drawings for the new unit are below.
The Long Grove Fire Protection District has placed an order with Alexis for a new tanker. The unit will be built on an IHC 4400 chassis with a 1,250-GPM pump, 1,850-gallon water tank, and a 50-gallon foam tank. The new tanker is expected to be completed by October of this year.
