Here is the new Garden Homes FPD engine. It replaced the Seagrave/Pierce X-Bedford Park which is now in the Andy Leider Collection. This Pierce came from East Longmeadow, Mass.Dennis

Garden Homes Fire Protection District in Alsip, Illinois has put their 1982/91 Seagrave/Pierce out of service and replaced it with a used engine from Firetec Fire Apparatus. Here is a photo from FireTec’s web site of the ” new” engine. The engine will not be in service for a few weeks waiting on final touch up’s.Dennis
