This from Eric Haak:
The town of Saint Anne, Illinois had a 4th Alarm MABAS Box on Saturday afternoon (4/22). The call came in just before 3:30 pm with the report of flames seen from the closet. It was quickly obvious that this was a little more than that as the fire was boxed nearly on arrival and was escalated to a 2nd Alarm minutes later. Very low water pressure led to available resources being spread thin and thousands of feet of 5 inch being dropped across the neighborhood. Eventually a tanker operation was set up as well as a MABAS 27 Engine Task Force request.
Firefighters were called to 20530 Williams Avenue in Lincolnshire Sunday morning 4/23/17 for smoke in a house. Companies made quick work of an apparent attic fire. Mutual aid at the scene included Buffalo Grove, Long Grove, Prospect Heights, and Lake Zurich.

Lightning from Sunday morning’s storm struck a house on Rudolph Ct. in Spring Grove. Crews where able to quickly contain and extinguish the fire, holding the response to a full still. The area has no hydrants so tenders nursed into Spring Grove’s engine. Jeff Rudolph

Park Ridge firefighters were called to 1205 Hoffman Avenue just after 7PM Wednesday evening (4/27/16) for a reported house fire. First arriving units reported heavy smoke from the attic of a single-family house and began an interior attack. The alarm was upgraded to a Code 4 for the working fire about 10 minutes later as flames vented through the roof. The fire was contained shortly thereafter and mutual aid companies that had not yet arrived were returned.
There were no injuries. Companies at the scene included Park Ridge Engines 35 & 36, Ambulances 35 & 36, Rescue & Battalion 36 plus 3500. Mutual aid units were Niles Ambulance and Tower 2, North Maine Engine and Battalion 1, Glenview Engine 7, Lincolnwood Ambulance 15, and Rosemont Truck 158.
The fire was declared to be under control as I arrived.
