The Wauconda Fire District has ordered an MVP pumper squad from Ferrara on an Ember chassis. The engine/squad will have a 1500-gpm pump with 750 gallons of water. Delivery is expected in late June or early July. The new unit will replace the Pierce Lance pumper/squad.

Here is the delivered shot of Engine 1111. It was shown in Peoria two weeks ago and was delivered already.
Lagrange Fire Department Engine, a 1111 Ferrara MVP pumper. It has a 1,500-GPM pump with 1,000 gallons of water. The shop order number is H-5010. Ron Heal photo

Lemont Fire Protection District Headquarters Station 1. Larry Shapiro photo
The Lemont Fire Protection District in MABAS Division 10 has been added to the site. Karl Klotz and Larry Shapiro recently photographed the entire fleet and the four fire stations. Lemont runs two Crimson engines, one Ferrara rescue engine, and a Pierce quint. Each of the four stations has a Type I style ambulance featuring two Fords, a Navistar, and a Freightliner chassis with boxes by Medtec and McCoy Miller.
