What was the cost of the tower new?? $600k market value seems really low. That’s not even half the cost of a new tower.

I suppose if you’re not paying labor to refurb this truck or maybe a one man shop or something you might find value in sprucing this truck up. My gut instinct is they didn’t do a lot to this truck.
Not sure if that rumor is true or not about the Seagrave tower but sure sounds messy. A side of me wonders if that rumor is even true about market value being at $600k. Obviously Seagrave doesn’t want the truck back but considering Lockport paid twice that for the truck, it just makes me wonder the accuracy of this rumor.

I would imagine the dealer put a little bit of money into it and is trying to flip it. Corrosion isn’t hard to fix, just labor intense.
As far as the Seagrave Apollo goes…word on the street is that Seagrave responded with they’ll take it back for market value, ~$600k, or they’ll continue to work with Lockport and fix the issues under warranty

I hope whoever purchases this truck has a very thorough inspection. This truck had significant corrosion issues and the main was also heavily corroded. Seems like a ton of money for a rig that Lockport sold off at a much much lower price due to the condition of the rig.

What’s the problem with the Segrave? Does anyone know?

What are they using as a Truck now. I know they sent the new tower back to Seagrave as a Lemon. Are they using the 1999 Pierce Stick again?
