The Southside FOOLS organization is putting together a FOOLS School in conjunction with the Illinois Fire Service Institute at the end of the month in memory of a member and mentor to all in the Chicago-land area Chief John MAC McCastland.

This from Eric Haak from the 2-11 Alarm fire in Chicago, 9-11-22

Here are some images from Sunday mornings 2-11 in Chicago. There was a deep-seated fire in the basement of the 50×100 auto parts store. Even though the building was 200 feet south of Engine 49’s house, the heavy fire load in the basement prompted a defensive attack early on.
