Cmk420 thanks I’ve been trying to get into the fire apparatus sales and service in this area so I’ve made friends and ask questions.

Harry–your “love affair” with Palm Beach Gardens is well documented, but you can not compare them to any department/District in this area. It does not make any sense.
I just read, in their Board meeting minutes, that Glenside Fire (Glendale Heights) has already started specing out a new ambulance because they won’t be able to get it until 2024 due to the current shortages that exist. So, what Danny is saying does carry a lot of truth to it.

local guy except the city you say has wanne be airport color trucks that cnt be more false because i challange u to find an airport fire rig that is brighter than pbg wont happen as for them buying seagrave as oppose to pierce it is simply the pierce dealer pbg uses they have had issues withj the dealer the rigs they love the pierces

Per a conversation I had at a fire event this past weekend with reps from the area pierce and e one and seagrave dealers, it depends on the level of customization but on average with pierce its running 450 475 days from order to delivery for eone the was around 430 days on the high end and seagrave told me that it’s 15 17 months on average. Dept by me ordered a new pierce engine on August of last year and they just went for the final pre con last week with expected delivery Nov Dec 2022, and another deptnordered 4 eone engines and a Quint in April 2021 the engines were delivered mid may 2022 and the Quint isn’t expected till July or early August.

Harry, maybe the chief was just lying to you or making it up because he didn’t want to talk to you anymore. You could be the bigger person and admit you were wrong, but that doesn’t seem to be your style. You shouldn’t take everything you hear as gospel, unless you want egg on your face again.

i was told this that it would be there from one of the cheifs and he as told by pierce by the end of may for sure as for buiding a fire engine and ladder truck it does not take long if they dont dilly dally because palm beach gardens in fl has 3 seagraves on order and they are set to be in florida before first quarter next year the cheif there told me less than 250 days so i dont know where all u people get your crap from

Harry, with all of your knowledge and expertise on fire apparatus, you should be a chief. In fact, you would fit right in at Homewood Acres!

I like the camera placement in front of the officer door.
Hairy spreads way too much inaccurate information on this page. He should be banned.

Harry, what happened? It wasn’t delivered at the end of May like you promised us…

i personally would have done one more thing to it to make it more unique and that would have been to add a blue stripe down the side not red that way it would have been red white and blue

Nice looking rig! The red ladder does make this rig unique!
