What is their reasoning for such a long front bumper? It doesn’t appear that they are placing a large quantity of LDH on it. Hopefully they have a good driver’s training program otherwise there will be many struck parked cars.

Another cow catcher of a front bumper?! Just drive it like a rear mount tower I guess, 4′ overhang.

Engines 1 and 2 have their own dedicated bays in Bartlett with nothing in front or back of them. I am guessing they know the length of the apparatus bay each engine is going to go in. Station 2 was also remodeled several years ago. I am sure Engine 2 will fit.
I wonder which Pierce they will move to station 3? My guess they will move the current Engine 2 and have that become engine 3. They would then sell the 2000 E-One. I don’t know if they would keep Engines 1’s Pierce as a Spare or if they would also sell that rig.

That bumper is ridiculous. What is it a 40” extension? That looks hideous!

Will it fit in the firehouse with other apparatus in front and back ????

These are ridiculous things! These are not engines. Who is specing these rigs?? They are ugly and enormous.

Is Engine 1 the bumper and Engine 2 the rest?

Love the paint job. Will either one have a light tower? How soon will they be done?

Looks like they are coming along nicely. These will replace engines 1 and 2. Since they are Rescue-Engines will they also replace Squad 1?

Now this is starting to get silly with bumpers IMHO. Otherwise it looks good.
