This from Brad Steinweg:
I came across this on Google street view last night. South Chicago Heights now has a new station located on Sauk Trail and the one on Jackson AVE is now closed. Not sure how long this new station has been in use.

Ted,
It is a 1972/1990, ALF Century, 1250/500 . The 1964 ALF, I believe is retired. On the main page, go to links, Bill Friedrich, metropolitan Chicago, Cook County South, South Chicago Heights for pictures.

Ted,
I know that they have a LaFrance Century from I believe the 70’s or 80’s. I am certain it’s still in service because the engine in the picture is the only other engine and I doubt 1 engine would be left to protect the entire town.
