My mistake on the location – by Engine 63 on E. Sixty SEVENTH Street., not 63rd.

This is next to Engine 63, on E. 63rd Street. Although I find it odd that NIPSTA and the CFD would be working together on a project like this. Wonder if this same company built the one down at the Quinn Fire Academy – and what kind of shape THAT one is in.

Mabas 21 that drill tower is built on the grounds of Chicago Engine 63’s and Truck 16’s quarters at 1440 E 67th street and is just west of the fire station on the north side of 67th street. That station also is the quarters of Ambulance 70 and EMS supervisor 458.

Proof that for every bad idea, someone or some people made a lot of money at least short term.
Or else they just subcontracted the work to KMART.

Is this a NIPSTA facility or jointly shared with the CFD? It apears to be next to a CFD firehouse, anyone know where at?
