Believe it or not, E-One squeezes in the big blocks on the Typhoon chassis. They are similar cabs as Localguy states. The most notable difference is the cab width. The Typhoon is 96″ wide and the Cyclone is 100″ wide.

In a nutshell, it’s cab width and the option to raise roof over the driver and officer 4″.

Didn’t Bolingbrook already order a tower?

I wonder why Bolingbrook went with the Typhoon chassis for the tower and the Cyclone for the pumper. I figured they would stick to the same cab for both. Either way, both are great cabs!
