Colton, I believe they may be Enforcers, similar design to their newest (2020) Pierce engine (Engine 2).

Tim, do you know what models they went with for the engines on order?

Mike, they had pretty good luck with those rigs. There were problems early on with all 3 because of the “new’ emission systems. There were some issues with frame corrosion too, but they held up pretty well.
It wasn’t the first time Orland made a big purchase from Darley. In the late 80’s/early 90’s Orland bought 4 Spartan/Darley engines, 1 Spartan/Darley/LTI tower ladder, and a Spartan/Darley/ Simon-Snorkel snorkel. Since then they went to Pierce and they tried their luck with an E-one (went back to Pierce after that). They have 2 Pierce engines on order.

I wonder how these compared to the pierce rigs. These seemed like solid rigs and it was nice to see them spend money locally since Darley is an Illinois company. Also a side note, I want to say Darley built a lot of apparatus for the northwest part of the country.

This is 1 of 3 identical rigs. They all had poly bodies. Great concept to get away from body corrosion, except the rest of the rig rots out…mainly the frame and cross members. This pic was pre-2015, when Orland went to a black center stripe.
Mike, the PUC pumps are built by Darley. The standard non-puc pumps can be whatever the customer wants, Hale/Waterous/Darley, etc.

The old pre Pierce era I think Darley still builds their pumps and maybe tanks
but is mostly involved in misc fire equipment sales……

Impressive looking monster. It appears that DARLEY doesn’t really build fire apparatus anymore or at least not too many if you look on their website.
