Centereach FD-Heavy Rescue 5-5-4 is retired
October 19, 2023. Centereach Fire Department’s Heavy Rescue 5-5-4 has been retired and is moving on to her new home with the Verona-Kinsman Fire Protection District in IL. The 2001 Spartan/Saulsbury rescue served Centereach for 22 years. The new 5-5-4, which is a 2023 Pierce Enforcer will be delivered soon.
