The aerial camera work on this video of the fire on Halsted is excellent. The close up angles make it obvious that it was shot from a Drone however when the camera zoomed out near the end of the video where you could see the large plume of smoke spreading northeast over Chicago and almost made it look like it could have been taken from a helicopter.
I wonder how many people watching the video are aware that the fire was behind Engine 59″s Old Quarters? Engine 59 was originally a South Side company and they didn’t move to the northside until 1979. That was also the Headquarters of the Old 4th Division as well. Its just west of the Old Bank.
