Harry, depends on department call volume, size, budget, and other factors. My front line ambulance at my station is 11 years old with 122,000 miles on it and a lot of life left. Yes, others go thru ambulances more quicker then that. Depends where you’re at.

348.000 must not have an auto loader or cot. Still at 348 it’s about 120k over priced.

Naperville usually keeps their medics for 10 years. They have 10 of them in the fleet (6 Frontline, 2 up with extra manpower, 2 reserve), and they replace 1 a year.
This one is replacing a 2013 International/MedTec that originally served as Medic 9 but is now a reserve. When it is delivered, the 2013 will go to replace the rehab unit, which is a 2006 International/MedTec that will be sold.

Still hard to see prices for ambulances like that! Hope this unit lasts them many years!
